Once you have your kitchen stocked with the basics, the only things left to buy are fresh provisions for about a week’s worth of meals. After a few weeks in your new routine, you’ll realize that your list of essentials looks similar from week to week, so shopping will get that much quicker and easier.
Here’s a recent shopping list of mine that I used to buy about a week’s worth of groceries:
1 box unsalted, unbuttered popcorn
1 pint blueberries
1 big bunch green grapes
1 bag baby carrot sticks (great to dipping in hummus)
2 boxes organic baby spinach (for salads or as side vegetables)
